my story: inspired by the garden

My passion for sharing the beauty of the garden led to the creation of The Garden Studio. My approach is to create garden style arrangements that are lush and alive with movement, overflowing with seasonal flowers, grasses, seed pods, and greenery, often just picked from the garden.

After many years of providing training and technical assistance to improve human services, I took the leap into the world of floral design to reconnect with my love for nature, gardening, and art. In 2013, I launched The Garden Studio to provide a unique floral experience.

When I’m not hiking with my two Shetland Sheep dogs, enjoying family time with my husband and two adult children, or traveling, you can find me sitting in my gazebo gazing at my garden or playing with flowers.
